When universal awareness forms a localized boundary—a focal point of subjective experience—that boundary appears from the outside as a biological organism. The finite mind, functioning as a localization of awareness, perceives this creative activity as a linear progression of forms evolving across vast stretches of time. Simple organisms represent basic forms of localization, while complex nervous systems represent highly intricate expressions of localized awareness.

From the absolute perspective, the apparent evolution of form acts as the spontaneous, ever-present activity of awareness expressing innate creative power. The physical environment does not exist as an independent, material stage upon which evolution occurs.
